The third anime series, Boruto: Naruto Next Generations, is a sequel to Shippuden and follows the adventures of Naruto's son Boruto. The series is currently ongoing and is produced by Studio Pierrot. The first story arc is the Naruto: The Seventh Hokage and the Scarlet Spring arc, which follows Boruto and his friends as they try to uncover the secrets of a mysterious ninja organization.
